The Deyo Group Comes to DeyOne

Posted by Daniel St. Clair

This is the first official Deyo Group blog post. You're excited, aren't you? Well, I know we are. Today we launch our third Deyo web site in two years. If that sounds like a lot, it's mainly because of the work we do for our clients. In working on client web sites, with some frequency I find myself wanting to implement on our web site what we're doing on theirs. One example of that is this blog. We did our first blog for Illuminare Photography some time ago. Once that site launched and we saw the blog in use, we started to think "hey, that's pretty cool," so we decided to build a blog into our DeyOne framework. This new blog is a very powerful tool, and we already have future enhancements planned.

It doesn't stop with the blog, though. The functionality contained in DeyOne is pretty amazing when you really start to look at it. When you have a site based on the DeyOne framework, you've got access to plug in the Online Storefront, the Knowledge Center, Secured Login Sections, User Directories, Photo Galleries, Flash Slideshows and so much more - functionality that has been in development for over a year. But with the way DeyOne works, your site can have all of those features and be up and running before you know it.

With all of the power of DeyOne, ripe for the er... implementing, I have eagerly anticipated a new Deyo site that takes full advantage of it. I've got to say, just sitting here and going over all this functionality is getting me pretty pumped up. And I'm a design guy.

It's an exciting time at Deyo. What we can offer - what we can do - today is a little mind-blowing, when I zoom out and look at the big picture. And you know what? We're not done yet.
